David Schram Photography

Born and raised in North Dakota and relocated to Western Washington in 1980 where I met my wonderful bride and guiding star, Mary.

My main course of study was the professional course from The New York Institute of Photography. I also took the Digital Imaging (Photoshop) course from the NYIP. My interests include landscape, portraiture, stills and fine art forms of photography in both color and monochrome.

Some of my inspirations: Henri Cartier Bresson, Edward Weston, Dorothea Lang, Richard Avedon, Robert Mapplethorpe, Alexey Titarenko, Walker Evans, Trey Ratcliff, and, of course, the venerable Ansel Adams.
